Puppy Socialization Classes 
The purpose of the course is to learn how to use reward-based training to teach puppies age-appropriate obedience, as well as how to use simple strategies to minimize the challenges that can be experienced wehn raising a puppy.
The course will be a series of six sessions, 1 hour each.
There will be a maximum of 6 puppies per session.
All immediate 2-legged family members are encouraged to pariticipate.
Sessions are to be taught by Denise Marcy, AKC certified trainer.
$95 for 6 sessions and additional orientation, $10 discount for shelter animals.
All puppies must be current on recommended vaccinations and parasite control.
Puppies 10-24 weeks of age are eligible for the beginnning puppy class; we will probably offer an additional class for older dogs.
The course will use AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program guidelines. (google AKC STAR puppy for details about the course).
