Drop-Off of Stray Animals/Owner Surrenders & Owner Reclaim
Mon - Fri: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. 
Sat: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

 
RCAS also does 1-year rabies vaccinations during the above hours. There is no appointment necessary and the cost is $10.   

If you are reclaiming please bring your pet(s) current rabies certificate or a 1-year vaccine will have to be administered per North Carolina state law.

The Animal Shelter cannot take calls about animal cruelty or stray animals needing to be picked up. If you want to file a report of animal cruelty or need a stray animal picked up from your residence/place of employment, please call Animal Control at 336-634-3300.
